At TASK parties, participants become the driving engine of the artistic process, using props and art supplies to perform and interpret randomly-assigned, user-generated tasks limited only by our collective imagination. Cooperation, collaboration, chaos and creativity are the name of the game, as a group of total strangers come together to form a utopian creative community under the summer sun in Regent Park. The afternoon promises art, music, sunshine, new friends and host of delightful surprises, and TASK is free of charge and open to absolutely everyone.
As part of StreetScape's Living Space @ Regent Park exhibition, TASK is the exclamation point on a bold statement of purpose highlighting engaged and innovative artist-community collaboration.
